Hello my name is Angel, though my athletes call me Coach Mass. I decided i would start this blog to provide and stimulate conversation on explosive training for athletes; especially teenagers. In my 11years experience as a strength coach I've found that teenagers are always seeking information on how to best train themselves and often fall victim to fads and misinformation. I would like to help change this situation for the better by providing the most contemporary, safe and efficient training methodologies available. First and foremost, the safety of the athlete is my number one priority.Secondarily, any exercise or training protocols i recommend is being used and developed day to day by me on my athletes. Along the way i will be introducing you to some training techniques such as Blyometrics and ADS ( Athletic Development System ). These are the same training tools and systems i've used to train the Championship Oakland High Wildcats Basketball team for the last 7 years Go on Youtube and you can see how bouncy we were!
